This coming Sunday, in Omaha Nebraska, I'm doing a full-marathon race,
which will be only my 2nd in the last 8 years, so I really don't know just what to expect.
I'm not quite in the hard condition that I had hoped to be in, but I'm not too far off.
The weather is supposed to be OK, I'll have family there,
and I will be officially in the 60-to-64 age-group where I get 15 extra minutes
to qualify for Boston, so there are legitimate reasons for me to be SOMEWHAT optimistic.
[ On the other hand, when one is 0-for-21 in attempts, 0-for-22 doesn't loom as the end of the world, y'know? :-> ]
