Something Federer, Djokovic, Sampras and Nadal (?) have that Murray doesn't. And that may be fairly decent (sole?) part of the reason he is so far behind.
What is the 'something'?
First correct answer = Wall Of Fame listing.
Winner / Correct answer: Friday, July 1, 2016.
Hint: It can be expressed in many ways but the one I have in mind can be summed up in two words. First word starts with 'S'.
Self-confidence?

A gnarly coach that everyone used to hate, but a funny person that garners more respect than Becker and McEnroe put together.

and the answer is ????????????????????
Posted by: Stella | 07/01/2016 at 11:22 AM
ALEX
You are not far. So you get another crack at it - with another hint:
Last letter of the first word is 'E' and first letter of the second word is 'F'.
Note to salivating freaking opportunistic vultures: You cannot win now. All you can do is help Alex. If he chooses your answer and wins, you DON'T win with him. Or if fails to choose your answer and that happens to be the right one, you STILL don't win.

Alex --- secure family
Posted by: Stella | 07/01/2016 at 04:32 PM
it doesn't matter if you win or lose it's how you play the game.
Or according to Snoopy -- it doesn't matter whether you win or lose - until you lose .
Or according to Rudyard Kipling and Wimbledon
“If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster, and treat those two imposters just the same…”
Personally, I'm with Snoopy !!
Posted by: Stella | 07/01/2016 at 04:40 PM
If that's the answer, TP is big time barking up the wrong tree. That one (Murray's) mom was worth 10 dads. Plus you'd think, by this theory, a single mom could never bring up a son to compete with a kid who comes from a two parent home.
So, I'm guessing it's some play on "scream primal"
Posted by: Alpha | 07/01/2016 at 05:23 PM
I agree with Alpha. I was going to say "supportive family", but then I thought of Judy and his brother, Jamie. They more than make up for his father's absence.
Posted by: Ricke | 07/01/2016 at 06:07 PM
and Nadal's parents split
Posted by: Stella | 07/01/2016 at 06:26 PM
Yeah I just assumed the divorce in the Nadal family would disqualify him as a "secure"family unit. Silly me.
Posted by: Bettyjane | 07/01/2016 at 07:01 PM
Man what can it be??
Surrogate Father??
Man my head hurts. Thinking toooooo much.
Posted by: alex | 07/01/2016 at 08:48 PM
TP you are freaking something else. But why do we like you, that beats me.
Answer please.

What is the answer??

Posted by: Tennis Planet | 07/02/2016 at 02:53 PM
appreciate I didn't win -- Alex was closer first. Can he have half of a WOF.
But I think my "secure family " is the same as "stable family "

Thank you my poetess !! Yeah this sounds more like it.
Posted by: alex | 07/02/2016 at 05:35 PM
Me too !!
I don't think Kipling really knows what he is talking about. Or it is just "he wishes that he can".
