Slam matches without fans will never happen? Who will play? Who will watch? Who will broadcast? They will always have fans? Maybe less fans?
Maybe the tour will create new formats? Shorter matches?
Big changes coming will hurt the best player? Djokovic?

Hmmm.....my natural inclination is to think that "the best player" ---
irrespective of sport or era --- would be the LEAST LIKELY to be hurt by "big changes".
