Gary Lee Moser

I haven't watched ONE SECOND of this match.

Schwartzman, with just three career titles to Nadal's 85,
said afterwards that he had come close a few times to beating the Spaniard.

"I think four or five times I was close enough to feel like maybe if
I play my best tennis I'm going to have chances," said the world number 15.

Nadal had a 9-0 H2H against DS going into this match.

Parsing it further: 22-2 in sets.

Parsing it EVEN MORE:

The 2 sets he won were as follows:

(1) After dropping the 1st set in R4 at the 2018 AO, he wins the 2nd in a tie-breaker.
Then promptly gets routined 6-3, 6-3 in sets 3 & 4.

(2) Wins the 1st set in the 2018 FO.
Then gets routined 6-3, 6-2 & 6-2 in sets 2, 3 & 4.

Not "close enough" to victory by a FREAKIN' LONG SHOT --- especially against Nadal.
