Yes, male pattern baldness in men is extremely suspicious

David Locke

Dang right AJ. You can never let your guard down around male pattern baldness. (insert shifty eyes here).

TP: You appear to have missed Ivan Ljubcic; Nikolay Davydenko; and James Blake as at the least of a current crop (and Agassi and Sampras from the previous batch), as others who fall under suspicion... of WHAT exactly?? I know where you're going with this thought, though won't be as silly as you are to publish baseless comments.

Funniest comment I've ever heard by a tennis commenter was Indian Wells two years ago when the announcer noted that Ivan Ljubicic with his headband on looked like a "roll on deodorant".

I just noticed Andy's "bird's nest" baldness yesterday. I don't think it'll affect his game.

We all know what TP is getting at. THE most disturbing sports related story I’ve ever heard was that one on 60 minutes some weeks ago on Lance Armstrong's alleged doping. (And I haven’t followed it, so I don’t know if there has been any additional info.) It never occurred to me that Armstrong cheated, but I was not at all surprised. What really, really nauseated me was, according to the man interviewed, it is very easy for an athlete to dope up and pass the tests. Also, according to the man interviewed, there was some evidence that someone was paid off to ignore a suspicious result. The fact that athletes can apparently get away with doping has changed the way I look at sports. Pre-Armstrong, I looked at Djokovic’s gorgeous streak and marveled. Here was a guy who worked his butt off and put it together and played super-human tennis and it was all beautiful. Now I look at his physique and forty some straight and wonder….. I can’t help it.

I didn't see the programme about Armstrong. I feel that way too and try to put it to the back of my mind. I was shocked by Agassi's own revelations which were kept quiet and swept under the carpet at the time.

Exactly Sperry !! Well said. I can't help it either. How awful!!
BTW that is excatly I think what the webmaster aka Teep is trying to insinutate for sure. Good one.

alex

I am totally devasted by Armstrong but not by Agassiz. I always wonder about Andres. Now it is confirmed. Sick.

Jenny... I think the only sane way to handle it, as a fan, is to do what you said you try to do... try to put it in the back of your mind. I just don't seem to be able to. Any superhuman performance henceforth (except from Roger...lol) will make me wonder. By the by... Agassi copped to RECREATIONAL drugs. He lied, then got it all brushed under the rug. As I've said before, he has proven to us that he will lie... he has proven that the system was (at least once) currupt. I don't think it unfair towards Agassi at ALL to assume the worst. Especially given his fall and rise. (And I LOVE the way he is currently giving back to society. Wonderful.)

As Sperry says it's "very easy for an athelete to dope up and pass the tests". I agree. :-( Check out these articles. It's freaking unbelievable!
